Corner protectors can reliably cushion corners and edges on railings, passageways, walls or pipes. At the same time, the products also protect industrial vehicles and machines in the event of a collision with a corner or edge, thus preventing vehicle damage. The corner guards are made of durable and solvent-resistant plastic polyurethane foam (PU foam). They can be attached to edges and corners with self-adhesive coatings, magnetic coatings or by simply slipping them onto a surface with a matching profile. For an optimal fit, the foam edge protectors in our store are available in different shapes and profiles.
Corner protectors are an integral part of impact protection, which is required by law under certain circumstances. Yet even when not required by law, corner and edge protection contributes to increased safety in the workplace, reduced repair costs and less downtime.
1. Corner protector shapes
The foam corner protectors in our range have both an inner and outer profile. The selection of the specific profile combinations depends on the shape of the object being protected. Regardless of the profile combination, corner safety guards are available in different widths and lengths:

2. Installation
The corner and edge guards in our product range can be installed quickly and with ease. The following installation options are possible:
Self-adhesive: Corner protectors with this feature are suitable for mounting on walls, railings and other objects that may cause damage in case of collision. They feature a self-adhesive coating making them easy to fix onto all smooth, clean and grease-free surfaces.
Magnetic: Corner protectors with magnetic mountings can be attached to any magnetic surface, e.g. pipes or railings. Due to the magnetic attachment, the self-adhesive corner guard can easily be removed at any time, leaving no residue.
Slip-on: Edge guards in a specific shape can also be installed and removed without leaving any residue, as they can simply be slipped onto a surface. However, slip-on corner protectors are only suitable for surfaces with a matching profile.
3. Material
At Jungheinrich PROFISHOP, you can buy edge protectors made of polyurethane foam with a yellow and black signal colour. The high-quality material is equally suitable for indoor and outdoor use and can withstand temperatures ranging from -40 to 90 degrees. Due to its UV and solvent resistance, the material is versatile and easy to clean. A further advantage of PU foam is that it can easily cut to a desired length using a handsaw or box cutter. This enables you to add corner guards to short walls, warehouse racks, railings, building corners and other limited protrusions.
