We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication via e-mail) can have security gaps. It is not possible to entirely protect data against access by third parties.

Information about the controller

The responsible entity for data processing on this website (i.e. the "controller") is:

Jungheinrich AG
Group Data Protection Officer
Friedrich-Ebert-Damm 129
22047 Hamburg
Germany

E-mail: DPO@jungheinrich.com

The controller is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data (e.g. names, e-mail addresses etc.).

Storage duration

Unless a more specific storage period has been specified in this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for which it was collected no longer applies. If you assert a justified request for deletion or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted, unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, the deletion will take place after these reasons cease to apply.

General information on the legal basis for data processing on this website If you have consented to data processing, we process your personal data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR, if special categories of data are processed according to Art. 9(1) GDPR. In the case of express consent to the transfer of personal data to third countries, the data processing is also based on Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR. Moreover, the data processing may be carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest according to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Information on the relevant legal basis in each individual case is provided in the following paragraphs of this data protection declaration.

Data protection officer

We have appointed a data protection officer.

Jungheinrich AG
Group Data Protection Officer
Frank Jastrob
Friedrich-Ebert-Damm 129
22047 Hamburg
Germany

Telefon: +49 40 6948 0
E-mail: frank.jastrob@jungheinrich.de

Note on data transfer to the USA and other third countries Among other things, we use tools from companies based in the USA or other third countries that are not secure under data protection law. When these tools are active, your personal data can be transferred to these third countries and processed there. We would like to point out that a level of data protection comparable to that of the EU cannot be guaranteed in these countries. For example, US companies are obliged to release personal data to security authorities without you as the data subject being able to take legal action against this. Therefore, it cannot be ruled out that US authorities (e.g. secret services) may process, evaluate and permanently store your data on US servers for monitoring purposes. We have no control over these processing activities.

Revocation of your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You have the right to revoke your consent at any time. The legality of the data processing prior to the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right of objection against data collection in special cases as well as against direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)

If data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for reasons arising from your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The respective legal basis on which processing is based can be found in the data protection declaration. If you file an objection, we will no longer process your personal data in question unless we can prove compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or if the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims (objection pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR).

If your personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of such advertising; this also applies to profiling, insofar as it is associated with such direct marketing. If you object, your personal data will no longer be used for direct marketing purposes (objection pursuant to Art. 21(2) GDPR).

Right of complaint to the competent supervisory authority

In the case of GDPR violations, the affected persons are entitled to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, specifically in the Member State of their habitual residence, their workplace or the location of the alleged infringement. This right of complaint exists without prejudice to other administrative or judicial remedies.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically based on your consent or in fulfilment of a contract delivered to yourself or to a third party in a commonly used and machine-readable format. If you require a direct transfer of data to another responsible party, this will only be done insofar as is technically feasible.

Information, correction and deletion

Within the scope of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right to obtain information, at any time and free of charge, about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, as well as the purpose of data processing. You also have the right to request that this data be corrected or deleted, where applicable. You can contact us at any time with regard to this and other questions on the subject of personal data.

Right to restriction of processing

You also have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted. You can contact us at any time for this express purpose. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:

If you should dispute the correctness of your data stored by us, we will usually need some time to verify this claim. While this investigation is ongoing, you have the right to demand that we restrict the processing of your personal data. If the processing of your personal data was/is conducted unlawfully, you may demand the restriction of the processing of your data in lieu of having the data deleted. If we have no further need for your personal data but you require it for the exercise, defence or assertion of legal claims, you have the right to demand the restriction of the processing of your data instead of its deletion. If you have filed an objection pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR, your rights and our interests will have to be weighed against each other. While a decision as to whose interests prevail is outstanding, you have the right to demand a restriction of the processing of your personal data. If you have chosen to restrict the processing of your personal data, such data – with the exception of its storage – may only be processed with your consent or for the purpose of asserting, exercising or defending legal rights or protecting the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.

SSL or TLS encryption

This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests, that you send to us in our capacity as page operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the padlock symbol in your browser address bar.

When SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data that you send to us cannot be read by third parties.

Encrypted payment transactions on this website

If you enter into a fee-based contract which requires you to send us your payment information (e.g. account number for direct debits), we will require this data to process your payment.

Payment transactions using common means of payment (Visa/MasterCard, direct debit) are conducted exclusively via encrypted SSL or TLS connections. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the padlock symbol in your browser address bar.

In the case of encrypted communication, any payment details you submit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Objection to promotional e-mails

We expressly object to the use of our contact data, published in accordance with our imprint obligation, in order to transmit advertising and informational material that has not been explicitly requested on our part. The operators of this website reserve the right to take legal action in the case of the unsolicited receipt of advertising information, such as in the form of spam e-mail.

4. Data collection on this website

Cookies

Our websites and pages make use of "cookies". Cookies are small data packets that do not cause any damage to your end device. They are either stored temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or they are permanently saved on your device (permanent cookies). Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your device until you actively delete them or they are automatically erased by your web browser.

Cookies can originate from us (first-party cookies) or from third-party companies (third-party cookies). Third-party cookies allow specific services from third-party companies to be integrated within websites (e.g. cookies for processing payment services).

Cookies have a variety of functions. Many cookies are essential for technical reasons as certain website functions would not work in the absence of these cookies (e.g. the shopping basket function or the display of videos). Other cookies may be used to analyse user patterns or for advertising purposes.

Strictly necessary cookies, which are required for the performance of electronic communication transactions or for the provision of specific functions that you wish to make use of (e.g. for the shopping basket function) or which are required for the optimisation of the website (e.g. cookies that provide measurable insights into the web audience), shall be stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, unless a different legal basis is cited. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies to ensure the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. Where consent to the storage of cookies and use of comparable recognition technologies has been obtained, processing occurs exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TTDSG); the consent can be revoked at any time.
You can configure your browser to inform you about the saving of cookies and to only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. When cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.
The exact cookies and services used on this website are specified in this data protection declaration.

Consent with Usercentrics

This website uses the Usercentrics consent technology to obtain your consent to the storage of certain cookies on your device or to the use of certain technologies and to document these in a data protection compliant manner. The provider of this technology is Usercentrics GmbH, Sendlinger Straße 7, 80331 Munich, Germany, website: https://usercentrics.com/de/ (hereinafter referred to as ‘Usercentrics’).

When you visit our website, the following personal data is transferred to Usercentrics:

Your consent(s) or withdrawal of your consent
Your IP address • Information about your browser
Information about your device
Time of your visit to the website
Furthermore, Usercentrics stores a cookie in your browser to be able to allocate the consents given and/or their revocation. The data recorded in this way is stored until you ask us to erase it, delete the Usercentrics cookie itself or until the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

Usercentrics is used to obtain the legally required consent for the use of certain technologies. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. c DSGVO in conjunction with Art. 7 Para. 3 DSGVO.

Contract data processing

We have concluded a contract for the use of the above-mentioned service. This is a contract that is required under data protection law and ensures that the personal data of our website visitors is processed only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries using the contact form, we will store the information you provide in the enquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. b GDPR if and insofar as your inquiry is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is required for the performance of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in the effective handling of inquiries submitted to us (Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR).

The information you have entered into the contact form shall remain with us until you ask us to eradicate the data, revoke your consent to the archiving of data or if the purpose for which the information is being archived no longer exists (e.g. after we have concluded our response to your inquiry). This shall be without prejudice to any mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods.

The same applies to registration when an account is created via the ‘Shop Registration’ section, so that the personal data required for contractual purposes does not have to be re-entered with each additional order. We use this personal data for business transactions.

Requesting a catalogue using the order form

You can use the corresponding order form to request a catalogue. To do so, you must provide a valid address as well as the company name, title, first name and surname. We use this data to send you the catalogue you have ordered by post. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) point b GDPR.

In addition, we use this data to send you the next catalogues and further product advertising by post. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

Our legitimate interest lies in promoting our shop and the products we offer to interested parties.

You can object to receiving regular catalogue and postal direct marketing mailings in writing to service@jh-profishop.de or to daten-schutz@jh-profishop.de.

Enquiries by email, telephone or fax

If you contact us by email, telephone or fax, your request, including all resulting personal data (name, request) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. b GDPR if your inquiry is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is required for the performance of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in the effective handling of inquiries submitted to us (Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR).

The data you send to us via contact requests will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after we have finished processing your request). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

5. Analytics and advertising

Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Tag Manager is a tool that allows us to integrate tracking or statistical tools and other technologies into our website. Google Tag Manager itself does not create user profiles, store cookies or carry out independent analyses. It is used only to manage and display the tools integrated via it. However, Google Tag Manager does collect your IP address, which may also be transferred to Google's parent company in the United States.

The use of Google Tag Manager is based on Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the fast and uncomplicated integration and management of various tools on its website.

For more information about Google Tag Manager, please visit the provider's website.

Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider of this service is Google Ireland Limited (‘Google’), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Analytics enables the website operator to analyse the behaviour of website visitors. In doing so, the website operator receives various usage data, such as page views, length of stay, operating systems used and origin of the user. These data are assigned to the respective end device of the user. An assignment to a user ID does not take place.

Furthermore, we can use Google Analytics to record your mouse and scroll movements and clicks, among other things. Google Analytics also uses various modelling approaches to supplement the collected data sets and uses machine learning technologies for data analysis.

Google Analytics uses technologies that enable the recognition of the user for the purpose of analysing user behaviour (e.g. cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Google about the use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

We use Google Signals. When you visit our website, Google Analytics collects information such as your location, search history, YouTube history and demographic data (visitor data). This data can be used for personalised advertising with the help of Google Signal. If you have a Google account, Google Signal links the visitor data to your Google account and uses it for personalised advertising messages. The data is also used to create anonymised statistics about the user behaviour of our users.

Further information is available about Google Signals and Google's privacy policy.

The use of this service is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG. This consent can be revoked at any time.

Browser Plugin

You can prevent Google from collecting and processing your data by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

For more information about how Google Analytics handles user data, see Google's privacy policy:
https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.

Kameleoon

We have integrated the personalisation and web analysis service Kameleoon into this website. The provider of this service is Kameleoon SAS (‘Kameleoon’), 12 rue de la Chaussée d'Antin, 75009 Paris, France (hereinafter referred to as Kameleoon).

The program enables an analysis of user behaviour based on (automated) user segmentation. By analysing the log file data, we can determine how the individual user segments visit the website, which landing pages are visited and how an increase in click rates can be achieved. The system analyses your behaviour and its context when using this website and assigns it to anonymous target groups.

As described above, cookies/the browser's local storage are used for the analyses, which are linked to a pseudonymised ID. Your IP address is completely anonymised and not stored for this purpose. The information generated by the cookie/local storage about your use of this website is transmitted to a Kameleoon server in Germany and stored there in aggregated and pseudonymised form. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Kameleoon is not merged with other Kameleoon data. You can find details here: https://www.kameleoon.com/de/compliance/dsgvo.

We use Kameleoon to analyse your use of the website and to compile reports on website activity so that we can regularly improve our services. The legal basis for the storage of cookies is the consent granted (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a DS-GVO). The further evaluation of the collected data is carried out over a period of max. 365 days on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DS-GVO.

You can prevent the storage of cookies/local storage by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser; however, please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also disable Kameleoon tracking at any time.

For more details, please consult the data protection declaration of the provider at https://www.kameleoon.com/de/datenschutz.

Google Ads

We use Google Ads. Google Ads is an online advertising programme provided by Google Ireland Limited (‘Google’), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Ads allows us to display ads in the Google search engine or on third-party websites when the user enters certain search terms on Google (keyword targeting). Furthermore, targeted ads can be displayed based on the user data available on Google (e.g. location data and interests) (target group targeting). As the website operator, we can analyse this data quantitatively, for example by analysing which search terms led to our ads being displayed and how many ads led to corresponding clicks.

This service is used on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) a GDPR and Section 25 (1) TTDSG. This consent can be withdrawn at any time. You can revoke your consent in the footer under Privacy Setting. After clicking on Privacy Setting, the cookie layer (consent layer) appears. Here you can revoke your consent to confirmed cookies.

Google Ads Remarketing

This website uses the functions of Google Ads Remarketing. The provider of this service is Google Ireland Limited (‘Google’), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

With Google Ads Remarketing, we can assign people who interact with our online offering to specific target groups in order to subsequently display interest-based advertising in the Google advertising network (remarketing or retargeting).

Furthermore, the advertising target groups created with Google Ads Remarketing can be linked to the cross-device functions of Google. In this way, interest-based, personalised advertising messages that have been adapted to you depending on your previous usage and surfing behaviour on one device (e.g. mobile phone) can also be displayed on another of your devices (e.g. tablet or PC).

Further information on Google's terms and conditions can be found in the privacy policy.

If you have a Google account, you can opt out of personalised advertising by clicking on the following link:

https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/.

This service is used on the basis of your consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TTDSG. This consent can be withdrawn at any time. You can withdraw your consent in the footer under Privacy Settings. After clicking on Privacy Settings, the cookie layer (consent layer) appears. Here you can withdraw your consent to the use of cookies.

Further information and the data protection regulations can be found in Google's privacy policy at:
https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=de.

Target group formation with customer matching

We use Google Ads Remarketing customer matching, among other things, to create target groups. In doing so, we transfer certain customer data (e.g. email addresses) from our customer lists to Google. If the customers in question are Google users and logged into their Google account, they will be shown suitable advertising messages within the Google network (e.g. on YouTube, Gmail or in the search engine).

Google Conversion Tracking

This website uses Google Conversion Tracking. The provider of this service is Google Ireland Limited (‘Google’), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

With the help of Google Conversion Tracking, we and Google can recognise whether the user has performed certain actions. For example, we can evaluate which buttons on our website are clicked how often and which products are viewed or purchased particularly frequently. This information is used to generate conversion statistics. We learn the total number of users who clicked on our ads and what actions they performed. We do not receive any information that would allow us to personally identify the user. Google itself uses cookies or comparable recognition technologies for identification purposes.

Further information about Enhanced Conversions and Google's privacy policy is available from the provider.

This service is used on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR and Section 25 Para. 1 TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time. You can revoke consent in the footer under Privacy Settings. After clicking on Privacy Settings, the cookie layer (consent layer) appears. Here you can revoke consent to confirmed cookies.

More information about Google Conversion Tracking can be found in Google's privacy policy:
https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

Conversion Tracking from Microsoft

Our online offers also use Microsoft's conversion tracking (Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA) on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 letter f DS-GVO (legitimate interest). If consent is given via the Consent Layer, the corresponding cookie is set. This enables Microsoft Bing and us to recognise that someone has clicked on an ad, been redirected to our website and reached a previously determined target page (conversion page). We only see the total number of users who clicked on a Bing ad and were then redirected to the conversion page. No personal information about the user's identity is shared.
If you do not wish to participate in the tracking process, you can also refuse the setting of a cookie as required for this – for example, by using a browser setting that generally disables the automatic setting of cookies. Further information on data protection and the cookies used by Microsoft Bing can be found on the Microsoft website.

Clarity from Microsoft

This website uses Clarity. The provider of this service is Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland, https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/clarity/ (hereinafter ‘Clarity’).

Clarity is a tool for analysing user behaviour on this website. In particular, Clarity records mouse movements and creates a graphical representation of which parts of the website users scroll particularly often (heat maps). Clarity can also record sessions so that we can view page usage in the form of videos. Furthermore, we receive information about general user behaviour within our website.

Clarity uses technologies that enable the recognition of the user for the purpose of analysing user behaviour (e.g. cookies or device fingerprinting). Your personal data is stored on Microsoft servers (Microsoft Azure Cloud Service) in the United States.

If consent has been obtained, the above-mentioned service is used exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) point a GDPR and Section 25 TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time. You can revoke consent in the footer under Privacy Setting. After clicking on Privacy Setting, the cookie layer (consent layer) appears. Here you can revoke consent to confirmed cookies.

Excentos

Our website uses online product advisors to provide you with the best customer service. The product advisor solution is provided by Excentos Software GmbH (Reiterweg 1, 14469 Potsdam, Germany). For optimisation purposes, user interactions, such as selected answer options and navigation activities and any purchases (only after requested and received consent) are collected. The service is provided on the basis of your consent, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time. You can revoke consent in the footer (footnote) under Privacy Setting. After clicking on Privacy Setting, the cookie layer (consent layer) appears. Here you can revoke your consent to confirmed cookies.
This usage data is stored anonymously in a web analysis system operated by excentos (Matomo). In addition, the necessary infrastructure services (such as Cloudflare) collect the IP address and usage activities of users in order to defend against cyber attacks. This is a necessary security measure to be able to offer the product advice services. This data is only stored temporarily (up to 4 hours) to enable the identification of potential attack patterns. During this period, an indirect timestamp-based assignment to the usage activities is possible under certain circumstances. (After this period has expired, the IP addresses including all log data are completely deleted.). Further information can be found in the provider's data protection declaration.

Matomo

This website uses the open-source web analysis service Matomo.
With the help of Matomo, we are able to collect and analyse data about how visitors use our website. This enables us, among other things, to find out when which pages were viewed and from which region they come. We also collect various log files (e.g. IP address, referrer, browser and operating system used) and can measure whether our website visitors perform certain actions (e.g. clicks, purchases, etc.).
The service is used on the basis of your consent, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO and § 25 TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time. You can revoke consent in the footer (footnote) under Privacy Setting. After clicking on Privacy Setting, the cookie layer (consent layer) appears. Here you can revoke the consent to confirmed cookies.
We host Matomo exclusively on our own servers, so that all analysis data remains with us and is not passed on.

LinkedIn Insight Tag

This website uses the LinkedIn Insight tag. The provider of this service is LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland.

Data processing by LinkedIn Insight Tag

With the help of LinkedIn Insight Tags, we receive information about visitors to our website. If a visitor to our website is registered with LinkedIn, we can, among other things, analyse the key professional data (e.g. career level, company size, country, location, industry and job title) of our website visitors and thus better align our site with the respective target groups. Furthermore, with the help of LinkedIn Insight Tags, we can measure whether visitors to our websites make a purchase or take any other action (conversion measurement). The conversion measurement can also be carried out across devices (e.g. from PC to tablet). LinkedIn Insight Tag also offers a retargeting function that allows us to display targeted advertising to visitors to our website outside of the website, although, according to LinkedIn, the advertising addressee is not identified.
LinkedIn itself also collects log files (URL, referrer URL, IP address, device and browser properties, and time of access). The IP addresses are shortened or hashed (pseudonymised) (if they are used to reach LinkedIn members across devices). The direct identifiers of LinkedIn members are deleted by LinkedIn after seven days. The remaining pseudonymised data is then deleted within 180 days.
As the website operator, we cannot assign the data collected by LinkedIn to specific individuals. LinkedIn will store the personal data collected about the website visitors on its servers in the United States and use it for its own advertising measures. For details, please refer to the LinkedIn privacy policy at: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy#choices-oblig.
Further information on data protection at LinkedIn can be found in the LinkedIn data protection information.
The service is provided on the basis of your consent, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and Section 25 TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time. You can revoke consent in the footer under Privacy Setting. After clicking on Privacy Setting, the cookie layer (consent layer) appears. Here you can revoke your consent to confirmed cookies.
Data transfer to the US is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/l/dpa and https://www.linkedin.com/legal/l/eu-sccs.

Objection to the use of LinkedIn Insight Tag

As a Linkedin user, you can also object to the analysis of your usage behaviour and targeted advertising by LinkedIn by clicking on the following link: https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out.
Furthermore, LinkedIn members can control the use of their personal data for advertising purposes in their account settings. To prevent LinkedIn from linking the data collected on our website with your LinkedIn account, you must log out of your LinkedIn account before visiting our website.

Contract data processing

We have concluded an order processing contract for the use of the above-mentioned service. This is a contract prescribed by data protection law that ensures that the personal data of our website visitors is only processed in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

Meta-Pixel (formerly Facebook Pixel)

This website uses the Facebook/Meta Pixel to measure visitor conversion. The provider of this service is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. However, according to Facebook, the data collected is also transferred to the USA and other third-party countries.
This allows the behaviour of site visitors to be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider's website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This allows the effectiveness of Facebook ads to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising efforts to be optimised.
The data collected is anonymous to us as the operator of this website; we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with the Facebook data usage guidelines (https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy/). This allows Facebook to enable the placement of advertisements on Facebook pages as well as outside of Facebook. This use of the data cannot be influenced by us as the site operator.
This service is used on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point a GDPR and Art. 25 (1) TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time. You can revoke consent in the footer under Privacy Setting. After clicking on Privacy Setting, the cookie layer (consent layer) appears. Here you can revoke the consent to confirmed cookies.
Insofar as personal data is collected on our website using the tools described here and forwarded to Facebook, we and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland are jointly responsible for this data processing (Art. 26 GDPR). The joint responsibility is limited exclusively to the collection of the data and its forwarding to Facebook. The processing by Facebook that takes place after the data has been forwarded is not part of the joint responsibility. The obligations incumbent on us have been set out in a joint processing agreement. You can find the wording of the agreement at: https://www.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum. According to this agreement, we are responsible for providing data protection information when using the Facebook tool and for implementing the tool on our website in a manner that is secure under data protection law. Facebook is responsible for the data security of Facebook products. You can assert data subject rights (e.g. requests for information) regarding the data processed by Facebook directly with Facebook. If you assert the data subject rights with us, we are obliged to forward them to Facebook.
Data transfer to the US is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) of the European Commission. Details can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/legal/EU_data_transfer_addendum and https://de-de.facebook.com/help/566994660333381.
You can find more information about protecting your privacy in Facebook's data protection information: https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
You can also deactivate the remarketing function ‘Custom Audiences’ in the ad settings section at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen. To do this, you must be logged into Facebook.
If you do not have a Facebook account, you can disable usage-based advertising from Facebook on the website of the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance: http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/.

Criteo

This website uses Criteo features. The provider is Criteo SA, 32 Rue Blanche, 75009 Paris (hereinafter referred to as ‘Criteo’).
Criteo is used to display interest-based ads within the Criteo advertising network. Your interests are determined on the basis of your previous usage behaviour. To do this, Criteo records, for example, which products you have viewed, added to your shopping cart or purchased. Further details about the data collected by Criteo can be found here:
https://www.criteo.com/de/privacy/how-we-use-your-data/.
In order to display interest-based advertising, we or other Criteo partners must be able to recognise you. To do this, a cookie is stored on your device or a comparable identifier is used that links your user behaviour to a pseudonymous user profile. For details, please refer to the Criteo privacy policy at:
https://www.criteo.com/de/privacy/.
Your personal data and the Criteo cookies stored in your browser are stored for a maximum of 13 months from the date of collection.
The data processing is based on your consent, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 TTDSG. The consent can be revoked at any time. You can revoke consent in the footer (footnote) under Privacy Setting. After clicking on Privacy Setting, the cookie layer (consent layer) appears. Here you can revoke the consent to confirmed cookies.
Criteo and we are jointly responsible within the meaning of Art. 26 GDPR. We and Criteo have entered into an agreement for joint processing, the essential contents of which Criteo describes at the following link:

6. Newsletter

Newsletter data

If you wish to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. Further data will not be collected or will only be collected on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.
The processing of the data entered into the newsletter registration form and the sending of the newsletter is based solely on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the ‘unsubscribe’ link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data you provide us with for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you unsubscribe from the newsletter or after the purpose for which it was stored no longer applies. We reserve the right to delete or block e-mail addresses from our newsletter distribution list at our own discretion within the scope of our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
Data that we have stored for other purposes remains unaffected.
After you have been removed from the newsletter distribution list, your email address may be stored by us or the newsletter service provider in a blacklist if this is necessary to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist is used only for this purpose and is not merged with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with the legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The storage in the blacklist is not limited in time. You can object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.
The newsletter is sent via the Microsoft Dynamics service (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.).
We use cookies and tracking pixels to improve our newsletter and to measure its success. We analyse the products and articles visited, your surfing history, the date and time of your visit to our homepage, the browser and platform used.
In addition, we analyse the success of our newsletters, i.e. whether the sent newsletters are opened and used, how many users an e-mail was sent to, whether e-mails were rejected and whether users unsubscribed from the list after receiving an e-mail. The evaluations help us to recognise the reading habits of our users and to adapt our content to them or to send different content according to the interests of our users. Unfortunately, it is not possible to separately revoke the newsletter performance measurement; in this case, the entire newsletter subscription must be cancelled. We store the data collected with Dynamics for as long as it is required for the purpose for which it was collected, or at most until the user revokes his consent to the data processing. Your data will not be passed on to third parties. Subscription to the newsletter is voluntary and data processing is carried out on the basis of your consent within the meaning of Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

7. Plugins and tools

YouTube with advanced data protection

This website embeds videos from the website YouTube. The site operator is Google Ireland Limited (‘Google’), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
We use YouTube in advanced privacy mode. According to YouTube, this mode ensures that YouTube does not store any information about visitors to this website before they watch the video. However, the advanced privacy mode does not necessarily prevent the sharing of data with YouTube partners. For example, YouTube connects to the Google DoubleClick network whether or not you are watching a video.
As soon as you start to play a YouTube video on this website, a connection to the YouTube servers will be established. This will tell the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to directly allocate your browsing behaviour to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
Furthermore, after starting a video, YouTube can store various cookies on your device or use comparable recognition technologies (e.g. device fingerprinting). This allows YouTube to obtain information about visitors to this website. This information is used, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve user-friendliness and prevent fraud.
Once a YouTube video has started, further data processing operations may be triggered over which we have no influence.
YouTube is used in the interest of presenting our online services in an appealing manner. This service is used on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) a GDPR and Section 25 (1) TTDSG. Consent can be withdrawn at any time. You can revoke your consent in the footer (footnote) under Privacy Setting. After clicking on Privacy Setting, the cookie layer (consent layer) appears. Here you can revoke your consent to confirmed cookies.
For more information about data protection at YouTube, please refer to their privacy policy at:
https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

Google reCAPTCHA

We use ‘Google reCAPTCHA’ (hereinafter ‘reCAPTCHA’) on this website. The provider of this service is Google Ireland Limited (‘Google’), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
reCAPTCHA is used to check whether the data entered on this website (e.g. on a contact form) has been entered by a human or by an automated program. To do this, reCAPTCHA analyses the behaviour of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, time the website visitor spent on the website or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis will be forwarded to Google.
The reCAPTCHA analyses take place completely in the background. Website visitors are not advised that an analysis is taking place.
The service is used on the basis of your consent, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 TTDSG. The consent can be revoked at any time. You can revoke consent in the footer (footnote) under Privacy Setting. After clicking on Privacy Setting, the cookie layer (consent layer) appears. Here you can revoke the consent to confirmed cookies. For more information about Google reCAPTCHA, please refer to the Google Privacy Policy and the Google Terms of Use at the following links:
https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de and https://policies.google.com/terms?hl=de.

Trusted Shops

To display our Trusted Shops seal of approval and any reviews collected, as well as to offer Trusted Shops products to buyers after an order, the Trusted Shops Trustbadge is integrated on this website.
This serves to safeguard our legitimate interests in the optimal marketing of our offer in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO. The Trustbadge and the services advertised with it are offered by Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Cologne.
When the Trustbadge is accessed, the web server automatically stores a so-called server log file, which contains, for example, your IP address, the date and time of access, the amount of data transferred and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the retrieval. These access data are not evaluated and are automatically overwritten no later than seven days after the end of your page visit.
Additional personal data is only transferred to Trusted Shops if you have consented to this, decide to use Trusted Shops products after completing an order or have already registered to use them. In this case, the contractual agreement between you and Trusted Shops applies.

8. Online marketing and partner programmes

Affiliate programmes on this website

We participate in affiliate partner programmes. In affiliate partner programmes, advertisements of a company (advertiser) are placed on websites of other companies of the affiliate partner network (publisher). If you click on one of these affiliate advertisements, you will be redirected to the advertised offer. If you then carry out a specific transaction (conversion), the publisher receives a commission for this. To calculate this commission, it is necessary for the affiliate network operator to be able to track which advertisement you used to access the respective offer and carry out the predefined transaction. Cookies or comparable recognition technologies (e.g. device fingerprinting) are used for this purpose.
This service is provided on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point a GDPR and Section 25 (1) TTDSG. You can revoke your consent at any time. You can revoke your consent in the footer under Privacy Setting. After clicking on Privacy Setting, the cookie layer (consent layer) appears. Here you can revoke your consent to confirmed cookies.

If it is necessary for processing your request or for concluding or performing a contract or business relationship with you, as well as in the case of centralised or outsourced corporate functions, your data may be passed on to our affiliated companies for the fulfilment of the above-mentioned purposes. If it is necessary for the investigation or prosecution of illegal or abusive incidents, personal data will be forwarded to our legal advisors, law enforcement authorities and, if applicable, to injured third parties. However, this will only take place if there are concrete indications of illegal or abusive behaviour. Data may also be passed on if this serves to enforce contractual provisions between us and our contractual and business partners. We are also legally obliged to provide certain public authorities with information upon request. These are primarily law enforcement authorities, authorities that prosecute administrative offences punishable by fine and tax authorities. Social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. can generally analyse your user behaviour comprehensively if you visit their website or a website with integrated social media content (e.g. like buttons or banner ads). When you visit our social media pages, numerous data protection-related processing operations are triggered. Specifically:
If you are logged into your social media account and visit our social media page, the operator of the social media portal can assign this visit to your user account. However, your personal data may also be collected if you are not logged in or do not have an account with the respective social media portal. In this case, this data collection is done, for example, by cookies that are stored on your device or by recording your IP address.
With the help of the data collected in this way, the operators of the social media portals can create user profiles in which your preferences and interests are stored. This way, interest-based advertising can be displayed to you both within and outside of the respective social media presence. If you have an account with the respective social network, the interest-based advertising can be displayed on all devices on which you are or were logged in.
Please also note that we are not able to retrace all processing operations on the social media portals. Depending on the provider, further processing operations may therefore be carried out by the operators of the social media portals. For details, please refer to the terms of use and data protection provisions of the respective social media portals.

Legal basis

Our social media sites are designed to ensure the widest possible presence on the internet. This is a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The analysis processes initiated by the social networks may be based on different legal bases, which are to be specified by the social network operators (e.g. consent within the meaning of Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Controller and assertion of rights

If you visit one of our social media sites (e.g. Facebook), we are jointly responsible with the operator of the social media platform for the data processing operations triggered during this visit. You can, in principle, assert your rights (information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and complaint) both against us and against the operator of the respective social media portal (e.g. against Facebook).
Please note that, despite our joint responsibility with the social media portal operators, we do not have full influence on the data processing operations of the social media portals. Our options are largely determined by the corporate policy of the respective provider.

Storage period

The data collected directly by us via the social media presence will be deleted from our systems as soon as you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Stored cookies remain on your device until you delete them. Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular, retention periods – remain unaffected.
We have no influence on the storage duration of your data that is stored by the operators of the social networks for their own purposes. For details, please contact the social network operators directly (e.g. in their data protection declaration, see below).

Your rights

You have the right to receive information about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data at any time and free of charge. You also have the right to object, to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority. Furthermore, you can request the correction, blocking, deletion and, under certain circumstances, the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
