Barriers for indoor use feature a practical and lightweight construction. They can be easily screwed into the floor and, in addition to safeguarding against collision damage, can also be used to ensure other safety precautions on company premises. This includes securing areas where objects can potentially fall, such as at the base of multi-storey heavy-duty shelving racks. They can also be used to promote a safe distance between people and vehicles in operating areas and to secure all work areas where hazardous substances, fire, machines and devices are handled. Moreover, collision protection barriers can serve as fall protection elements on stairwells, protrusions and other elevated areas.

Our impact protection barriers are available with different thicknesses and diameters. Versions with a thickness of 1.5mm and a diameter of 40mm are often used for indoor areas where heavy equipment or vehicles are not present. However, should forklifts, other industrial vehicles or machinery be used in an area, front and side impact protection barriers that are at least 3-4mm thick and have a diameter of at least 76mm should be installed.
