Flat pallet trucks

With flat pallet trucks – also called low profile hand pallet trucks – low special pallets, flat pallets, non-standard Euro pallets and one-way pallets can be picked up almost at floor level and transported horizontally. This is made possible by the particularly low entry height of only 51mm and especially flat forks, which the standard versions of our hand pallet trucks do not have. Infeed rollers make it easier to drive under the load. Some models also have a quick lift of up to 120kg, with which special pallets can be lifted off the floor within a few seconds.

Our flat pallet trucks are used in the internal transport of goods, especially for short distances, and are used, among other things, for loading and unloading vans, trailers and trucks. Lift trucks with a flat entry height are also used for low-floor goods transport in the warehouse.

This is achieved with just a few manual pump strokes via the ergonomic tiller and a high-performance hydraulic pump, which are designed for continuous use and are particularly hard-wearing. Lowering valves ensure that the loads can be sensitively lowered again. The manoeuvrability of our flat pallet trucks also increases efficiency when transporting particularly low goods. The load capacity of the manual low profile pallet trucks in our range is 1500kg.

1. Buy flat pallet trucks with the right fork length

• The standard fork length is 1150mm for low profile pallet jacks, and the fork carrying width is 540mm. However, some models of our low lift pallet trucks are available with forks in special lengths and special fork carrying widths, as required. This allows special pallets to be picked up and transported safely and effectively:
• Short fork lengths of 795 and 950mm: Accommodates unit loads such as cartons or boxes, display pallets, half pallets and quarter pallets (CHEP pallets).
• Extra wide fork carrying width of 680mm: Accommodates pallets with excess width or length, several pallets at the same time or for transverse pick-up of Euro pallets.

2. Select tyre material

All flat pallet trucks at Jungheinrich PROFISHOP are each equipped with two robust swivel wheels and fork rollers, which are designed for loads up to 1500kg. In addition, super and ultra-low profile pallet jacks with tandem fork rollers are also available from us. These double castors distribute the weight better, especially in the high load range, and thus prevent the wheels from breaking. Please note: Due to the low ground clearance, a level, smooth surface is a prerequisite for using a flat pallet truck. These low lifting pallet trucks cannot be used on ramps.

In case of wear or for a better adaptation to surfaces and operating conditions, the wheels of the pallet trucks with flat entry height can be easily replaced. For this purpose, we have various lift truck wheels and rollers in our online shop.
