Whether in the industrial sector, in the workshop or in the warehouse, manual mobile scissor lift tables are a flexible and cost-efficient solution for goods handling, capable of raising or lowering to an ergonomic working height for order picking and sorting. Unlike stationary scissor lift tables, a manual scissor lift trolley has smooth-running rollers, making them highly mobile. These mobile lift tables with manual lifting and lowering functions are back-friendly as they are designed to improve posture and efficiency in dynamic working environments.
At Jungheinrich PROFISHOP, you can buy manual lift table trolleys from well-known and trusted brands such as Ameise®, BARTH, and fetra®. All of these models meet the safety requirements of BS EN 1570 for industrial lifting tables, as set out by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN, French: Comité Européen de Normalisation). For use in areas with strict hygiene regulations, we also have special stainless steel scissor lift table trolleys. These trolleys have surfaces that are easy to clean and are resistant to many chemicals.
Unlike our electric scissor lift trolleys, these models are raised and lowered manually, without electric assistance. The scissor mechanism (lifting or lowering) is set in motion by a hydraulic unit filled with oil. Lifting is done via a pedal and lowering via a hand lever. This process has both advantages and disadvantages:
The suitability of a manual scissor lift table for your operational processes is determined not only by the lifting function but also by the lifting height. This varies depending on the type of scissor frame or length of the scissor pliers. At Jungheinrich PROFISHOP, you will find the following scissor types and lifting ranges:
Manual lift tables with single scissors are particularly suitable for tasks with moderate elevation.
220mm to 1400mm
With a double scissor frame, these models achieve the broadest lifting range
340mm to 1800mm
For safety and stability when lifting and lowering goods on a manual lift table, you should not load it beyond the specified maximum load. When choosing the right lift table trolley, the maximum loads that regularly occur during your operating process must therefore be accounted for.
In our range, you will find manual lift tables with a load capacity of 150kg to 1000kg. You should also take into account the weight distribution of the load on the platform:
If the entire platform is to be loaded evenly, the load capacity specified by the manufacturer is sufficient. For a maximum heavy load of 400kg, for example, a lift table trolley with that same load capacity would be sufficient.
If the pallets or goods are to be distributed over half the length of the platform, the manual scissor lift table should be able to handle half the maximum load weight. For a model with a load capacity of 400kg, this means that a maximum of 200kg can be distributed over half the length of the platform.
If, on the other hand, a load of 400kg were to be distributed over half the length of the scissor platform, the manual scissor lift table must have a total load capacity of at least 800kg.
If you want to distribute weight across the width of the platform, the manual scissor lift table should support at least one-third of the load weight. In the case of a lift table trolley with a load capacity of 400kg, the load weight must not exceed 133kg across half the width of the platform.
