The electric tow tractor Ameise® TTE 1.0 – lithium-ion assists your employees in their daily work by enabling comfortable and fatigue-free transport of various trailers and trolleys with loads of up to 1,000 kg. The electric tow tractor was developed for light-duty use over short distances, both indoors and outdoors, and can also be used on inclines. The electric tow tractor is a flexible and efficient all-rounder for a wide range of applications, be it in production, order picking, retail or as a last-mile solution.

The Ameise® electric tow tractor is supplied with a coupling with plug-in bolt. You can use it to transport all rolling load carriers whose drawbar features a round towing eye. The bolt is secured by a cotter pin. The coupling bolt has a diameter of 20 mm. The height of the coupling arm is infinitely adjustable from 150 to 250 mm. For better tracking, the trolleys must be equipped with 2 steering castors on the coupling side and 2 rigid fixed castors at the rear. This ensures reliable straight-ahead travel during transport while also enabling a good level of manoeuvrability.

The TTE 1.0 electric tow tractor impresses with robust and durable Ameise® quality. Ease of use and safety are of paramount importance. You start the tow tractor by entering the PIN code, thus preventing use by unauthorised persons. Control instruments such as the battery discharge indicator, operating hour counter, slow travel mode symbol and error code display are clearly arranged on the LCD, thereby keeping you fully up-to-date on the truck status at all times.

You can adjust the tiller height of the pedestrian tow tractor in stages to suit your individual ergonomic needs. You control the desired direction of movement and travel speed via the multi-function tiller head, which can be infinitely adjusted. With the electromagnetic brake, you can effortlessly bring the tow tractor to a standstill. The brake also prevents the tractor from rolling away unintentionally, e.g. on inclines. The collision safety switch positioned centrally on the tiller head provides effective collision protection: When the button is touched, the electric tow tractor immediately sets off in the opposite direction and stops automatically.

Thanks to its low weight and compact design, the pedestrian tow tractor is extremely manoeuvrable, meaning that you can use it safely even in confined spaces. The Ameise® TTE 1.0 features a slow travel mode. When activated, this allows you to manoeuvre the tow tractor at a very slow speed. The compact design also offers optimum visibility of the coupling, so that you can always keep an eye on the trailer connections. Two large drive wheels made from non-marking solid rubber ensure optimum manoeuvring even on uneven ground. Protective bars on the wheels provide effective foot protection. The two sturdy polyurethane steering castors ensure optimum stability.

The powerful and maintenance-free 24-V lithium-ion battery is characterised by its impressive performance, short charging times and long service life. The external charger enables rapid intermediate charging at any 230-V socket and maximises the availability of the electric tow tractor. The optional replacement battery further increases flexibility. It can be changed by hand in mere seconds thanks to its low weight and practical plug-in system.
