The Jungheinrich EZS 010 electric tow tractor – lithium-ion serves as a flexible and efficient all-rounder that allows you transport goods with greater speed and productivity. The electric travel function assists your employees in their daily work by enabling comfortable and fatigue-free transport of various trailers and trolleys with loads of up to 1,000 kg. The electric tow tractor was developed for light-duty use over short distances, both indoors and outdoors, and can also be used on inclines. The Jungheinrich electric tow tractor is supplied with a coupling with plug-in bolt. You can use this to transport all rolling load carriers whose drawbar features a round towing eye. The bolt is secured by a cotter pin. The coupling bolt has a diameter of 20 mm. The height of the coupling arm is infinitely adjustable from 150 to 250 mm. For better tracking, the trolleys must be equipped with 2 steering castors on the coupling side and 2 rigid fixed castors at the rear. This ensures reliable straight-ahead travel during transport while also enabling a good level of manoeuvrability.

The EZS 010 electric tow tractor offers maximum efficiency and safety levels. The powerful and maintenance-free 24-V lithium-ion battery is characterised by its impressive performance, short charging times and long service life. The external charger enables rapid intermediate charging without memory effect at any 230-V socket, thereby maximising the availability of the electric tow tractor. The optional replacement battery further increases flexibility. Changing the battery is an uncomplicated process that can be completed in mere seconds thanks to its low weight.

You start the tow tractor by entering a 4-digit PIN code, thus preventing use by unauthorised persons. Control indicators such as the battery charge status, operating hours, slow travel symbol and applicable fault codes are clearly arranged on the LCD display so that you are always well informed about the truck status. For additional ease of use, you can adjust the tiller height of the pedestrian tow tractor in stages to suit your individual ergonomic needs. You control the desired direction of movement and travel speed via the multifunction tiller head, which can be infinitely adjusted. With the electromagnetic brake, you can effortlessly bring the tow tractor to a standstill. The brake also prevents the tractor from rolling away unintentionally, e.g. on inclines. The collision safety switch integrated in the tiller head provides effective collision protection: in the event of physical contact, the electric tow tractor immediately travels in the opposite direction and stops automatically.
