A hot-water power washer is perfect for intensive and thorough surface and façade cleaning. Examples include cleaning agricultural machinery and vehicles or for decontamination in food processing plants. Even where large and stubborn amounts of dirt have to be dislodged, our hot-water pressure washers save time and deliver the best cleaning results.
In a hot-water jet washer, either an electric motor or an internal combustion engine produces a jet of highly pressurised water. In the process, the water is heated by a heat exchanger before exiting through the spray nozzle. Both pressure and flow rate can be variably adjusted to suit the surface that needs cleaning.
Hot pressure washers are more effective at cleaning dirt and grime than a standard hose or cold-water pressure washer:
At Jungheinrich PROFISHOP you will find a wide range of devices from the industry’s most trusted manufacturers. We carry both high-performance electric hot power washers and combustion engine models. Different power levels are available to suit an array of applications. Read on to ensure you purchase the best-fit hot power washer for your needs.
Please note: The use of warm and hot-water power washers on wooden surfaces is not recommended. The strength of the jet and temperature of the water could damage sensitive wooden materials.
Our hot-water power washers offer high pressure and flow rates for the best possible cleaning results. To help you choose the right model to suit your needs, our pressure washers are divided into two different classifications:
500–700 l/h
700–2000 l/h (depending on model)
Many of the products in our hot pressure washer range allow the user to finely control water impact pressure by increasing the flow rate. This allows for better cleaning performance without having to increase power input. The splash distance also plays an important role in dirt removal: the smaller the distance between nozzle and surface, the greater the impact pressure. Reducing the splash distance can greatly improve cleaning performance, even amongst lower pressure devices.
Our range of warm and hot water pressure washers includes both electric and combustion engine models. Combustion engine models are powered by diesel or petrol. Electric models operate on mains power and offer a wide radius of operation thanks to extended power chords, up to 10m long.
Please note: Hot pressure washers with combustion engines emit potentially harmful emissions and are not suitable for indoor use.
When using a pressure washer, particularly with hot water where heated steam can pose a burn risk, it is highly recommended that you wear the correct protective equipment. This might include goggles, gloves, respirators or full boiler suits, depending on the type of work being performed.
For particularly hard-to-remove dirt and grime, most hot-water pressure washers can be used with compatible cleaning agents and disinfectants. Be sure to check the manufacturer’s instructions to check which cleaning aids are and are not suitable.
