Our battery-operated scrubber washers are equipped with long-lasting and highly reliable lithium-ion batteries. As you are not dependent on a local power source during operation, you have far greater flexibility to clean a range of areas that might be far from power plugs and sockets.

Depending on the size of the walk-behind scrubber dryer and the battery capacity, these models typically offer a minimum of 50 minutes of run time while providing full access to all standard cleaning functions.

Mains-operated

Mains-powered, scrubber dryers can operate for as long as needed, making them more suited to larger cleaning areas and prolonged use.

Thanks to a cable length of ten to 12 m, you can work within a large operating radius without needing to find another power source.

2. Buy a walk-behind scrubber dryer with roller or disc brushes

A walk-behind floor scrubber removes dirt with the help of cleaning agents, which are either added directly to the freshwater tank or fed through an automatic dosing system in front of the brush head.Once sprayed with the cleaning solution, the brushes remove dirt through rotation.

3. Choosing the correct performance criteria for a walk-behind scrubber dryer

In addition to choosing the right type of brush, the general performance parameters are also important for a walk-behind floor machine. These determine how efficiently the device will work within a given operating area. Important considerations include:

• Area performance: The area performance indicates the theoretical area size that the walk-behind scrubber dryer could clean per hour. In the Jungheinrich PROFISHOP range, you will find models with a theoretical area output from 620 m²/h to 4000 m²/h.
• Working width: Large working widths allow for maximum efficiency and timesaving when cleaning wider open spaces, while smaller working widths are ideal for cluttered or non-standard layouts. Our walk-behind scrubber dryers are available with working widths between 280 mm and 750 mm.
• Tank volume: The models in our shop feature freshwater tank volumes from three to 85 l. The larger the tank, the less often the water tank will need to be refilled.
